"To God Be the Glory"

Here's one of my favorite hymns. The message of the gospel is clear, the glory goes to God, and the call to praise in the chorus sounds like something straight out of the Psalms.

So, sing it out and sing it loud. Let the whole earth hear the song of our praise and come to the Father by His grace through faith in Jesus.


To God be the glory, great things He hath done
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin
And opened the life-gate that all may go in

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord
Let the earth hear His voice!

Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son
